EcoCover is manufactured primarily from reclaimed paper taken directly from the landfill waste stream and certain adhesives, which are reprocessed into a wide variety of products.
The most popular EcoCover product is the mulch mat, made from 87% recycled waste content. The mat is easy to handle, cut to size, and lay. Much like conventional plastic matting, EcoCover prohibits weed growth, but its benefits don’t end there. EcoCover’s New Zealand manufacturers have recently developed a method of embedding liquid organic fertilizer into the EcoCover mulch mat, so the product now performs a unique dual role of weed suppressor and organic nutrient supplier.
