The partnership includes the "TPL Rate" at all Kimpton Hotels. When a guest asks for the TPL Rate, he or she receives the best available rate and Kimpton makes a donation of $10 to benefit TPL's conservation mission in cities and communities across America.

Kimpton Hotels has a global, eco-friendly outlook that includes a sense of responsibility, appreciation and care for the planet. Kimpton begins conserving at the top, using recyclable paper and soy ink on all collateral and correspondence in the San Francisco-based home office. Kimpton's Hotel Triton, now a completely "green" and eco-friendly hotel, was the first to introduce an eco-friendly floor. The Hotel Triton has been selected by the California Integrated Waste Management Board as the model for it Green Hotels Program.
