Environmental consulting firm BEM Systems, Inc. (BEM) announces that three senior environmental specialists, Patricia Strayer, P.E., Joanne R. Chamberlain, and Susan M. Carstenn, Ph.D., have joined the company’s new office in West Palm Beach, Florida.

They will support BEM’s scientific and engineering services under several contracts with the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) under the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Program (CERP) as well as other state and federal water and environmental restoration programs.

Patricia Strayer, P.E., is Senior Project Manager in BEM’s West Palm Beach office, which she opened in July. Susan M. Carstenn, Ph.D., Senior Restoration Ecologist, comes to BEM from Hawaii Pacific University, where she was an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science.
