BREAK THE CYCLE WINS $50,000 REALITY CHECK GRANT

LOS ANGELES, CA, July 26, 2005 --/WORLD-WIRE/--
Social Spectrum, an initiative of Celestia International, announced today that Break the Cycle, a national domestic violence organization based in Los Angeles, is this year's Reality Check Grant recipient. The grant is valued at $50,000 worth of professional business leadership skills training, marketing, and technological support services.

"There were hundreds of worthy applicants," said David Rippe, Executive Director of Social Spectrum. "and it was difficult to select only one. Break the Cycle is a well-deserving organization working hard to engage, educate and empower youth to build lives free of dating and domestic violence. It's an important issue."

  • A private leadership workshop for the senior staff, board, or executive team
  • Development of a strategic marketing communications plan including review of messaging, branding, current marketing materials, web site, development of new materials, demand generation recommendation and media relations
  • An evaluation of technology and infrastructure
