FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Delta's IntelligentEHS® Adopts EarthSoft's EQuIS® Delta's Web-based environmental, health and safety information management system enhances capability through the addition of EQuIS ST. PAUL, MN, June 25, 2007 --/WORLD-WIRE/-- Extensive evaluation and testing that included more than 400 sites from a large oil and gas client's portfolio has resulted in Delta's selection of EQuIS as the technical data module used with its IntelligentEHS information management system.EQuIS forms the core of Delta's overall technical data system. Delta's Sample Planning Module produces electronic chain-of-custody and work specifications documents. All data-flow between field contractors and the laboratory is therefore electronic. Through a combination of email and Web site tracking, this approach allows extensive quality assurance data to be obtained about both field and laboratory events. Delta also has an extensive support system of both software and personnel. This data flow employs several EQuIS Enterprise components, including the web Enterprise modules. These include Enterprise EDP for managing EDD submissions from lab and field, and EZView for Web-based data reporting and generating graphics. "Linking these systems with IntelligentEHS and financial systems allows automatic tracking of regulatory deadlines, assessment of actual chemical sampling and analysis against planned sampling, and production of contractor invoices," says Dr. Kim Stagg, Technical Data Management Lead at Delta, and the chief architect of the system.
