TOBERMORY, ON, Canada, May 18, 2007 --/WORLD-WIRE/-- E’Terra is celebrating “Living and Building Healthy” at their Grand Opening Gala Event Friday, May 25th, 2007 where Mr. Ian Jarvis of the Canadian Green Building Council will present E’Terra’s builder/owner Laurie Adams the LEED Gold NC Award as well as Certificate of Recognition by Mr. Peter Love of the Conservation Bureau. The weekend events include tours of E’Terra, interpretive hikes, basecamp luncheon on the shores of Georgian Bay, and evening barbecue.

E’Terra is designed as a prototype with sustainable environmental concepts that can be applied to every home, office building, and school enhancing human health that otherwise deteriorates in current building environments. E’Terra has achieved several accolades and awards successfully creating an environment that resonates at our own cellular level. Future plans are to create a foundation to extend E’Terra for larger groups, namely students and their educators dedicated to ecological learning and good health.

Laurie Adams is a Director on the Bruce Peninsula Biosphere Association in the UNESCO Niagara Escarpment World Biosphere Reserve. Previously, was a member of the Canadian Green Building Council, a Director of the Bruce Resource Land Stewardship and a Board Director of the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation. Laurie’s works of published writing are found in international magazines, forest environment reports, the United Nations Environment Program/Tourism 2002 site and Leading Edge 2001 Niagara Escarpment Commission. Laurie has spoken at conferences worldwide and performs environmental consulting, management and supervision on films, documentaries and commercials as well as the development and construction of award winning buildings.

Proceeds from this non-for-profit event directed to Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Wangari Maatai, Plant for a Planet, Billion Tree Campaign, Greenbelt Movement International.
