WILD ALASKA SEAFOOD MESSAGE TO REACH 1,400,000 CONSUMERS ON UNITED AIR FLIGHTS

JUNEAU, ALASKA, May 18, 2004 --/WORLD-WIRE/-- Celebrity Chef Allen Susser applauds wild Alaska Seafood in a new in-flight video appearing on United Airlines flights during the month of May, encouraging consumers to enjoy it for its flavor, health benefits, and good quality. More than 1,400,000 travelers will be encouraged to "Ask for Alaska" when it comes to seafood, because it is healthy, pure, abundant and wild.

The video production has an entertaining news format. Chef Allen Susser, whose popular restaurant 'Chef Allen's' is in Aventura, Florida, shares his perspectives on why he chooses to serve wild, sustainable Alaska Seafood at his award-winning establishment. "Asking for wild Alaska Salmon is like asking for quality," Chef Susser explains, as photos of Alaska fishing boats, Alaska seafood, and Alaska bears alternate with the chef preparing food. "You want quality in what you're eating, you want something that tastes good, that you know is handled properly, and comes from nature."

Claudia Hogue, director of the foodservice program at ASMI, observes, "the airlines offered a great opportunity to reach a captive audience with our Alaska Seafood message on over 12,000 flights."

Chef Allen Susser is a widely respected leader in culinary circles. He received a James Beard award as best chef in the Southeast, has authored cookbooks, and is a creator of New World Cuisine which uses fresh ingredients in a fusion of Caribbean, Latin American and contemporary American Styles.
