CLEAN ENERGY POWER® 2005 A SUCCESS STORY - KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE ABOUT CURRENT ENERGY TOPICS

BERLIN, Germany, January 31, 2005 --/WORLD-WIRE/--
Sustainable energy supply for the future, new technologies, and energy-efficiency were the themes of the "CLEAN ENERGY POWER® 2005", which took place January 26 and 27 in the International Congress Center (ICC) in Berlin. Clearly these themes have a high demand for information!

Approximately 800 participants from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as Bulgaria, France, Finland, Ghana, India, Poland, Sweden, and the Czech Republic made the trip to Berlin to obtain and exchange information about pellets, solar climatization, and energy-efficient renovation, not to mention thermophotovoltaics, international climate protection, and vegetable oil.

At the "1st German Vegetable Oil Energy Forum", more than 100 participants discussed alternative energy sources and the potential of energy crops. The concluding speech by Hans-Josef Fell, member of the Bundestag, presented that unlike finite oil reserves, renewable energies and biomass alone have the potential to solve the world's energy problems.

"It has also been shown here once again in Berlin that when it comes to this subject, we're on the ball" exclaimed Johann Georg Röhm, C.E.O. of the organizing company "erneuerbare energien Kommunikations- und Informationsservice GmbH". "Renewable energies are rising more and more in the focus of public interests - not only in Germany, but worldwide!"

The accompanying exhibition ran as well with full satisfaction. "The contacts that I met throughout were very valuable", commented one firm representative from the building sector. "I was precisely able to reach my target group."

The concept of an "International Congress with an accompanying exhibition" demonstrated its potential. For this reason it is already clear: In 2006 the "CLEAN ENERGY POWER®" will take place again in the ICC Berlin. Berlin as a site for international renewable energy congresses proved itself worthy!
